My name is Gayle Evers, and I have a willingness to
share what I've learned at the feet of some great
teachers...most notably my grandfather, Dr. Fred H. Hall.
I do a great deal of research and study to prepare these
lessons. My hope is to give you food for thought,
whether you are a new Christian or an experienced
Bible scholar.

I attended the Houston Graduate School of Theology for a few semesters before
family needs and a job transfer cut my student life short. Seminary fed a deep
longing in me to learn more about the Word. I have an eagerness to delve
deeper and deeper into the Word, learning from others and sharing all I can.
I attend Gateway Church in Austin, Texas. I love the sense of caring these
Christ-followers exhibit, the directness and relevance of the messages, and the
intensity with which this church serves the community.
As a National Merit Scholar and Mary Gibbs Jones Scholar, I graduated with
honors from the University of Houston and went directly to work for a "Big 6"
public accounting firm. I ended my career in 2005 as a Managing Director for
JPMorganChase in New York City.
I now count my blessings every day as I work in the community, spend time with
my beloved husband, children and grandchildren and study the Word. This is a
life-long dream come true. I hope it blesses you as much as it is blessing me.
